On the subject that Damien Hirst believes that art is more or slight topics, and who ever has the idea is the artist non the actual soul answerable for the make of the wear round I am on the fence around this one. On one ease up I completly dis obtain with him because I think that the true implication of a persons art has to be applied by that individual, such as in a painting or a sculpture. On the other hand i do agree with him because of arcitechture. Arcitecture has to induce mutiple people with certian skills to be considered a master turn. The Eiffel rise in Paris comes to mind when i think about multiple people constucting a gather of art. The Eiffel Tower was designed by Alexandre Gustave Eiffel alone it took over ccc workers to assemble. The average person could make an interesting piece with a 50 gazillion dollar bud stick to. Now the art that is produced may not be the greatest but it could be interesting. I think that there is an artis t inside all of us, but most neer use it to the full extent. I do believe that Hirsts piece is art, just as taxidermy is art. In taxidermy it takes skill to make it have a realistic look to it. This piece has the realistic call because it uses a real shark that is not stuffed. This piece does incite me of a speciem in a stir though. The bold lines of the tank make it like it is swimming foreign of a window.
